to Bornholms Musikfestival.
The programme for the 2022 festival can now be seen under Concerts 2022.
The concerts take place between 21 July and 22 August and offer a series of exciting concerts, where you can hear both classical gems and challenging - but no less sparkling - new music.
There are also a number of larger ensembles on the programme:
The vocal ensemble Theatre of Voices, Ensemble Stralo and the conductor Paul Hillier perform Peter Navarro-Alonso's recompositions of the Renaissance composer Carlo Gesualdo's madrigals. Esbjerg-Ensemblet, supplemented with harp, piano and the accordionist Bjarke Mogensen as soloist, performs, among other things, new music by Lil Lacy. The season closes with Concerto Copenhagen, who with Lars Ulrik Mortensen and the bass Jakob Bloch Jespersen perform works by Buxtehude and his contemporaries.
The ensembles mentioned each round off at 10 performers, so there will be a crush in the ear canals. But the other ensembles too consist of outstanding musicians who will give listeners great experiences.
