Every August, Rudersdal Sommerkoncerter offers 10 concerts in the beautiful countryside of Rudersdal, north of Copenhagen.
The concerts are played by Danish and international artists who are both virtuosos on their instruments and have a personal and original take on repertoire and concert format.
The repertoire includes both well-known and beloved classics, lesser-known masterpieces and new music. Since the start in 2010, musicians from more than 35 countries and music from 800 years have been presented.
Several of the concerts are combined with other elements, e.g. talks and guided tours. There is always a warm atmosphere and a good chance to get to know both the musicians and the other audience members.
