Thy Kammermusikfestival
13. aug. - 28. aug.
Thyholm
Once again this summer we gather 22 skilled musicians from all over the world to play lovely chamber music together in Thy, with its vast landscapes, coasts and the refreshing wind.
Far from the world's enormous cities - Berlin, London, Paris, New York, Copenhagen, etc., where many of our participants come from, here in Thy, for two weeks, we can fully experience making music under ideal conditions, thanks to the selfless generosity of everyone who makes the festival happen. Two fantastic weeks where lovely music and a lovely stay coincide. Many believe this can only happen here.
This year's repertoire consists of music in a myriad of styles, ranging from Mozart, Schubert and Brahms to Heise, Kodaly, Langgaard, Villa Lobos, Ravel and Messiaen, to name a few. There will also be a group that writes and improvises its own music during the festival.
So come and be with us this summer!
