About Gyldne Dage i Præstø – a festival of culture, history and craftsmanship
Most activities take place in the streets, on the square and at the harbour, and can be enjoyed free of charge. Other activities require a badge or the purchase of an admission ticket

How: We invite you to a huge party and turn the clock back to the early 1800s
The history
Præstø's town centre was built during the 1800s, and thanks to many dedicated
citizens, large parts of the town's architectural character still appear as when it was built.
During this year's Gyldne Dage we will go back to Præstø from 1800 to 1845, when the town
developed a flourishing trade. Free building plots made it attractive to
build the many houses needed to shelter the growing population.
The people of Præstø welcome you to the big party. Together we can take pleasure in our
beautiful old town.
