Frederiksdal Chamber Folk Festival
Mark your calendar for 31 August 2024, when Frederiksdal Chamber Folk Festival once again offers lovely musical experiences in the scenic surroundings of Frederiksdal Slot.
PROGRAMME 2024
In 2024 the festival is held as a one-day event.
We are hard at work booking the names for this year's festival and look forward very much to unveiling this year's programme!
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Step into a world where folk music and classical music are united. Frederiksdal Chamber Folk Festival is the only festival in Denmark to offer a concert programme divided equally between two genres: grand chamber music and community-centred folk music. At the festival you can experience a programme of musical genres that have historically represented diametrically opposed social classes, but which are now united in the beautiful surroundings of Frederiksdal Slot.
Bring your friends and family and enjoy the cosy atmosphere under the broad beech trees at the festival ground, or enjoy a grand chamber concert in the magnificent garden hall of the castle.
