Bornholms Musikfestival

Welcome
Bornholms Musikfestival, the country's oldest festival of its kind, welcomes all guests to its 57th season, which takes place on Mondays and Thursdays between 21 July and 21 August 2025.
This season too, the board looks forward to offering concerts of high quality with both well-established artists and ensembles, and with young prizewinning ensembles.

All concerts, except the concert on 7 August, are played in Aa Kirke.
Two ensembles, Monbijou Quartetten and Trio Fantasma, play open rehearsals at Bornholms Kunstmuseum under the direction of Professor Tim Frederiksen on Saturday and Sunday 26 and 27 July and on Tuesday and Wednesday 29 and 30 July.
Without large and generous support Bornholms Musikfestival could not offer these concerts, and the festival has so far gratefully received support from Augustinus Fonden, A.P. Møllerske Støttefond, Bornholms Brand Fond, Bornholms Musik- og Teaterråd, William Demant Fonden, Knud Højgaards Fond, Simon Spies Fonden, Aage og Johanne Louis-Hansens Fond and Statens Kunstfond.
Corresponding support is given by the parish council of Aa Kirke, which makes Aa Kirke available for our concerts, and by Bornholms Musikfestivals Venner, whose board with great enthusiasm and willingness ensures the musicians' wellbeing and the running of the concerts.
