Welcome to Klassisk Sommer Festival in Esbjerg and on Fanø.
We are delighted to announce a collaboration between the acclaimed Esbjerg Internationale Kammermusikfestival and the beloved Fanø Festival, designed to give all music enthusiasts a seamless experience. This partnership will offer 20 concerts in a variety of genres, some accompanied by refreshments, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees.
The festivals hold concerts in the historic churches in Nordby and Sønderho on the idyllic island of Fanø and in Ribe, Denmark's oldest town, including in Sct. Catharinæ Kirke and Ribe Kunstmuseum. Concerts will also take place in the concert hall of Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium in Esbjerg, a historic building known for its exceptional acoustics.
This summer, the synergy between Esbjerg Internationale Kammermusikfestival and Fanø Festival will transform Esbjerg, Fanø and Ribe into a cultural destination worth visiting. The festivals have been a platform for global musicians to create new artistic collaborations and have helped promote chamber music in the region, as shown by numerous broadcasts on Danmarks Radio and other collaborations.
