The theme of Rued Langgaard Festival 2025 is Danish Mysticism, with music by the three Danish composers Tekla Griebel Wandall, Ludolf Nielsen and Rued Langgaard.
The festival offers, among other things, the poetic walking concert Langgaard's Afternoon, which takes place at and around Ribe Kunstmuseum and by Ribe Å. The event will take place on both Friday and Saturday. When buying a ticket you will therefore be asked to choose a time to attend.
You can also look forward to, among others, the large choir and orchestra concert In the Deep, Rued Langgaard's Bench at Ribe Kirkegaard with musical meditation, Lenore – the Horror Hour with songs and lieder, the night concert The Antichrist Returns, and talks about the composers and mysticism by, among others, Jens Cornelius, Thomas Husted Kirkegaard and others.
