HICSUM is an international chamber music festival at Herlufsholm Skole og Gods near Næstved. The festival brings together leading musicians from Denmark and abroad for six days of concerts, artist talks, masterclasses and musical experiences in historic surroundings.
The theme of HICSUM 2026 is Music Between Myths – a journey through fairy tales, legends, gods, nature spirits and the great stories of humankind. The programme ranges from Monteverdi, Schubert and Beethoven to Gubaidulina, Ullmann and living composers.
The festival takes place 5-10 July 2026.
