Late Summer Festival Hvide Sande - Fra det yderste Nord
10. aug. - 14. aug.
Hvide Sande
Late Summer Festival is an annual classical music festival in Hvide Sande – right between the North Sea and Ringkøbing Fjord. Over five days, 10-14 August 2026, the festival offers six concerts with award-winning musicians from Denmark and abroad at unique venues in outstanding natural surroundings.
This year's theme is From the Far North. The music leads us towards Greenland in encounters between the ancient and the new: Rasmus Lyberth gives Greenland a voice, the piano star Melissa Jacobsen-Velandia visits the festival for the first time, and Niklas Walentin brings Bach and jazz into close dialogue. Tradition and the present, world premieres and improvisation – everything is woven together, and the audience gets right up close to the artists.
