Langgaard Festival and Faith in 2024
Farewell to Nordic Dream and hello to Faith with Anton Bruckner, Benna Moe and Rued Langgaard
Thank you to our large, wonderfully curious audience, to outstanding musicians, ensembles, orchestras and speakers. And thank you to everyone in front of, on and behind the stage for making Rued Langgaard Festival 2023 take flight.
In 2024 the theme will be 'Faith' – with room for superstition and underbelief – with the composers Anton Bruckner, Benna Moe and Rued Langgaard.
Among the main events will be performances of Bruckner's Symphony No. 4, Symphony No. 7 and Symphony No. 8, as well as the world premiere of the music-drama production Summer 1913 about Rued Langgaard's great love.
Rued Langgaard Festival 2024 runs from Wednesday 4 September – Bruckner's 200th birthday – to Sunday 8 September.
We look forward to seeing you in 2024.
