Vendsyssel Festival
1. jul. - 15. aug.
Vendsyssel Festival is Scandinavia's largest festival for classical music, located in Vendsyssel, North Jutland. The festival has been held every summer since 1971.
During the 6 weeks the festival lasts in 2025, as many as 53 concerts will be held. The participating ensembles and soloists are internationally and nationally known musicians who perform music from the Renaissance and the baroque up to brand-new music.
Vendsyssel Festival has entered into a collaboration with the Danish cellist Andreas Brantelid to arrange and programme 3 of our concerts every year. Here Andreas has the opportunity to invite already well-known artists together with young and up-and-coming stars to the Festival. This collaboration gives our audience a unique chance to experience new exciting talents in great musical experiences.
In 2025 the festival runs from Tuesday 1 July to Friday 15 August.
The concerts at Vendsyssel Festival take place in the region's beautiful churches, manor houses, art museums and concert halls.
On the Festival's website and via newsletters, we will keep everyone updated on which concerts to look forward to.
