Luthersk Missions Højskole
Ansgarvej 2, Hillerød
Luthersk Missionsforenings Højskole (LMH) in Hillerød was established in 1923. In the beginning, preparation for practical educations took up a large part of the teaching. A proper folk high school line was established, and after World War 2 the Bible school line began. In the 1960s the explicitly vocational lines were discontinued. In 1977 a 10-month Bible and folk high school line was begun for the first time, which was longer than the previous courses. Throughout LMH's existence the school has been closely tied to Luthersk Mission, and the Christian message characterises the whole of the school's work. Today there are 6 lines in total: the 5-month line, the integration line, the 10-month line, a music line and a focus on global mission.
