Ordrupgaard

Vilvordevej 110, 2920 Charlottenlund

Go to website
Ordrupgaard is a museum of French Impressionism with artists such as Monet, Degas, Renoir and Gauguin. In addition there is a substantial collection of Danish art centred on Hammershøi and his time – as well as changing special exhibitions. In the park you will find works by international contemporary artists. Or you can visit Finn Juhl's world-famous house. Buildings by Zaha Hadid and Snøhetta underline the museum's architectural profile and stand as works in their own right. Ordrupgaard was founded by the married couple Wilhelm and Henny Hansen as a private art collection. The museum is still housed in the founding couple's stately home, Ordrupgaard, which was built in 1918.
