Live Klassisk DK16. December 2021
This week Lea Han (pianist, festivalleader at @festivalnfriends, and part of Nordic Artists Management) will give you her guide to for upcoming events 🌊
My name is Lea Han and I just finished my official studies as a pianist this summer (Royal Danish Academy of Music). I spend my time working at Nordic Artists Management (NAM as I call it) and planning my festival, Festival & Friends — that will take place for the 3rd time in July 2022. Even though December is a dark month (quite literally), and we are feeling the presence of covid-19 creeping around us yet again, we are still lucky to have classical concerts where time and space evolves around other things than social distancing and restrictions. Since I have just finished reading Harry Potter 1-7, my recommendations might be inspired by the magic of story-telling, a good plot and experiences that might broaden my horizons 🪄🌜
1. KILL YOUR DARLINGS (Modern danse by CORPUS):
Love modern dance. It is always so unexpected and intersting to watch. This will be CORPUS’ last productions at the Royal Theatre — better late than never 💥
2. MASKEBALLET (Opera by Verdi):
Love a good old drama with period costumes. I expect at least three people to die during these 2 hours and 50 min 🎭
3. Nøddeknækkeren (Ballet by Balanchine):
I have seen this maybe three times already? Magical universe, dazzling music by Tchaikovsky, cute kids and human-sized candy — quite irresistible 🍬🩰
