Description

Hall: Storsalen The audience can look forward to a very special concert experience when violinist Arve Tellefsen, pianist Håvard Gimse and Hardanger fiddler Knut Buen share the stage this autumn evening. They bring with them a musical universe shaped by decades of collaboration, friendship, a love of storytelling and a shared love of the Norwegian musical tradition. Violinist Arve Tellefsen, pianist Håvard Gimse and Hardanger fiddler Knut Buen have, for many decades, given a number of concerts together. Friendship, a feel for varied, expressive music, improvised ideas and genuine joy in storytelling have always marked the programmes they have presented. Most recently in 2025 they came together for concerts that put audiences in a good mood and received good feedback. National Romantic music and the stories inspired by the company of Myllarguten, Ole Bull, Edvard Grieg and their contemporaries have been central repertoire when these musicians meet, but often with surprising performances, topical remarks and melodic memories from film and music history. Skill, free imagination and the sharing of varied music and memories from exciting and dramatic lives are the ingredients worth mentioning for the concert with Tellefsen, Gimse and Buen. To take care of something is to use it. Contact Phone: 72 40 10 15 Email: post@oppdalkulturhus.no Org.
