Sounds of Christmas

Description

A rare opportunity to hear some of the country’s finest ensemble singers perform the most beautiful music of Christmas – presented in some of our most acoustically beautiful churches. Valen Vokalensemble and musicians from Stavanger Symfoniorkester invite you to a warm and peaceful pre-Christmas moment – a concert that lets calm settle and the music fill the space with festive atmosphere. On stage are 12 professional singers together with a chamber group from the orchestra. Together we offer a programme that unites classical Christmas works with familiar and beloved Christmas songs, in arrangements ranging from the traditional to the innovative. Duration: approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes.
