Gala Concert for Arve Tellefsen

Description

A magnificent gala performance in Olavshallen. In December the great Arve Tellefsen turns 90, and we are delighted to be able to invite all of Trondheim to celebrate the city's great son with a magnificent gala performance in Store sal, Olavshallen. Here a bunch of Arve's many friends gather on stage, carefully staged by Bjørn Nessjø, who also produced the album "Pan" for Arve in 1988 - the best-selling classical album in Norway of all time. To be able to celebrate a life that has embraced as widely as Arve's, Trondheimsolistene turn out in full strength, and are joined by everyone from opera singers to rock stars and footballers - and perhaps a little Bulgarian or two! That much is needed to pay tribute to Arve Tellefsen - honorary citizen of Trondheim, honorary member of RBK, and the city's first international star - as a musician and as a person, with the guest of honour himself in the front row. On stage there will be great surprises both for Arve and for the audience.
