Falling Apart Together

Description

Boundary-breaking Ólafur Arnalds The award-winning artist, composer and producer Ólafur Arnalds comes to the Opera House with his boldest and most adventurous project to date. As one of Iceland's foremost artists and composers, Ólafur Arnalds has generated several hundred million streams over the past decade. The tours in the wake of the albums re:member and some kind of peace were hailed internationally, and filled halls such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Sydney Opera House and the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Now he is setting out on a new world tour with the concert concept Falling Apart Together. Electronica meets classical music The project is his most ambitious yet: together with his dedicated team of string players, percussionists and visual artists, he weaves new material together with selected highlights from the catalogue. Through music, light and space, Falling Apart Together explores the distance we create between us - and what happens when we dare to open up and let others in. The result is a unique concert experience where electronica, classical music and performing arts melt together on Hovedscenen.
