Orpheus in the Underworld

Description

Opera for everyone It is outrageous, fun and very socially critical. It is time for a crowd of sheep and plague-of-the-land music when Vidar Magnussen's Orpheus in the Underworld tears the Opera House apart once again! People think they know what they will get at the Opera: love and death, deep sorrow, little fun and a theme as ancient as the art of opera itself. People think so. People are wrong. For nothing is what people expect when director Vidar Magnussen's operetta returns to Bjørvika – with Kristoffer Olsen in one of the leading roles. You are hereby invited to a wild party of the gods with plenty of drink flowing, shamelessly famous music, costumes of the rough kind – and a can-can that kicks in every direction.
