Path of Miracles

Description

This year's season opening offers a full evening with one of the most moving choral works of our time: Joby Talbot's Path of Miracles. The work is a musical journey inspired by the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostella. The four movements, Roncesvalles, Burgos, León and Santiago, represent cities and a new stop along the way. Just like the pilgrimage, the work stretches out over time and gives room to sink in, be present and listen. Here the magnificent landscapes are portrayed, the physical and inner journey with pain and toil, hope and community, doubt and transformation. Performers: Yuval Weinberg Det Norske Solistkor
