Path of Miracles
Yuval Weinberg
Description
This year's season opening offers a full evening of one of the most moving choral works of our time: Joby Talbot's Path of Miracles. The work is a musical journey inspired by the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela. The four movements, Roncesvalles, Burgos, León and Santiago, represent cities and a new stop along the way. Much like the pilgrimage itself, the work stretches out over time and gives room to let things sink in, to be present and to listen. Here the magnificent landscapes are portrayed, the physical and inner journey with pain and toil, hope and fellowship, doubt and transformation. Performers: Yuval Weinberg Det Norske Solistkor
