Trio R3 was established in the spring of 2020 and gave its first concert in June the same year. The ensemble consists of three distinctive musicians with a strong commitment to both classical repertoire and more recent music.
Trio R3 has a versatile repertoire ranging from Kachaturian and Stravinsky to
contemporary composers such as Rune Boutroue Bekkhus, Roger Arve Vigulf, Ricardo Odriozola, Alban Berg, Gunnar Berg and Eli Helland, among others.
The trio has, among other things, taken part in Ensemble KammerKlang's own productions, and has given its own concerts in Jar kirke, Høvik kirke and under the auspices of NyMusikk Bergen.
