Reconciliation festival
20. aug. - 25. aug.
Stavanger
The chamber music festival that invites artists, researchers and you to build a beautiful world! We invite you to share the artistic experience as a force for reconciliation in society and a step towards sustainable development.
The theme for 2024 is the breath of the new world, inspired by the warmth and colours of South American cultures, while we invite everyone to reflect on the vision we want for our future world.
We are pleased to welcome the cellist Jakob Koranyi, the violinist Sonoko Miriam Welde, the pianist Frédéric Vaysse-Knitter and many more from the international and local scene. After the dance of 2023, this edition shows a unique art exhibition, 3 Acts, by Teresa Puig and Fauve Tintigner, which will surprise you every day. The participation of Professor Stefan Kölsch, a world-renowned expert in neuroscience, offers a unique opportunity to understand the deep impact of music on society and individuals. Yoga in nature, workshops for children and beach clean-ups are also there to relax, learn, and take care of ourselves and our planet.
Welcome to the Reconciliation festival!
