Anna Berg’s work recommended by the International Rostrum of Composers
Composer Anna Berg’s work The Grammar of Ornament (2024) was recently selected as one of ten recommended works at the 71st edition of the International Rostrum of Composers, held in Slovenia. The work, performed by Oslo Sinfonietta with conductor Christian Eggen and violin soloist Guro Kleven Hagen at the Ultima festival in September 2024, was chosen from among 42 works from 22 broadcasters around the world.
The International Rostrum of Composers, organised by the International Music Council under UNESCO, is an annual gathering that promotes contemporary music and encourages the broadcasting of new music on radio.
New music by Anna can be heard as soon as this coming Sunday in Bergen!
