Wigums symfonisjov

Description

Conductor: Torodd Wigum Guest: Terje Formoe Music by, among others, Joseph Haydn, Edvard Grieg, Igor Stravinskij and the film music composer James Horner. Inspired by Linda Eide's popular “language show”, the versatile and acclaimed Norwegian conductor Torodd Wigum presents his new concept, Wigums symfonisjov. We meet Terje Formoe as a guest and get to know his relationship to symphonic music. For what is a symphony, really, who wrote the first one, and how does Joachim Nikolas Eggert fit together with Beethoven's Fate Symphony? In Wigums symfonisjov, through knowledge, humour and curiosity, the audience gets even closer to the orchestra. And thereby also to the most important thing in any symphony concert: the music. The concert is for music lovers and the curious of all ages. A warm welcome to a symphonic evening out of the ordinary!
