If you look forward more to classical music experiences than to the football World Cup this summer, this is the guide for you!

Here you get international top quality, great entertainment value and a summery atmosphere all around the country.
How about a short-distance summer holiday for a few days in Valdres, Haugesund or Sandefjord?

🪴 Ski Hagefestival
Dates: 5-7 June
An incredibly charming garden festival from Oslo Kammerakademi.
We hope the concert with fortepiano is indoors, but otherwise we're keeping our fingers crossed for good weather!
Location: Sveio and Haugesund
Dates: 12-21 June
We simply have to highlight this festival with an incredibly lively programme ranging from Bach to Frank Zappa! As the festival itself quotes, "“All the good music has already been written by people with wigs and stuff.” - Frank Zappa
Dates: 24-28 June
Star-studded festival with concerts around Valdres. Everything from outdoor island opera to Herborg Kråkevik, gourmet food and really old churches. And an enormous summer course for children and young people, of course!
Dates: 23-28 June
According to the festival itself, they have the best music, the best artists and the best summer town - so surely that must mean gold in this summer's festival World Cup, then?
Location: Sandefjord
Dates: 5-19 July
An imaginative festival with everything from promising young talents to our most established chamber music stars. Midtåsen was the home of shipowner Anders Jahre, but now hosts classical concerts throughout the year and not least large parts of July. Chamber music, opera and more!
