Den internationalt anerkendte østrigsk-italienske violinist Olivia De Prato har etableret sig som en solist i verdensklasse med fokus på nutidig musik og improviseret musik. Hun turnerer regelmæssigt i Europa, Sydamerika, Kina og USA. Olivia De Prato gæster KLAR!festival 2024 med et program bestående af danske premierer af førende østrigske komponister samt bestillingsværker fra hendes Artist Mother Project. Inspirationen til disse kompositioner er centreret om det at være både mor og kunstner. Hvordan påvirker moderskabet ens kunstneriske visioner og kreativitet? For både kunstnerisk arbejde og moderskab er i bund og grund en skabelsehandling. Musik af J. Baker, K. Lang, J. M. Staud og flere. --- Internationally recognized Austro-Italian violinist Olivia De Prato has established herself as a passionate performer of contemporary music and regularly performs across Europe, South America, China and the United States. At KLAR!festival 2024 she presents several Danish premiers of leading contemporary Austrian composers as well as commissioned pieces from her Artist Mother Project. The inspiration for these compositions is centered around the topic of being both an artist and a mother and how motherhood does influence one's artistic vision and creativity. The music stands alone on its own merits, but will invite listeners to examine the practical realities and societal position of the artist as a mother.
