Vijgen & Schou: Improvisatory Spring Pastludes [for homemade instruments] Catherine Lamb: point/wave (2015) [for justly tuned steel-string guitar and Secondary Rainbow Synthesizer] Environmental sounds in the water tower become lush waves of microtonal sonorities in this long form work by Catherine Lamb, who is exploring the interaction of tone, summations of shapes and shadows, phenomenological expansions, the architecture of the liminal (states in between outside/inside), and the long introduction form.
