Cabaret and Other Vices

Description

Step into the seductive world of cabaret when the soprano Katrine Deleuran Strunk and the pianist Laurits Dragsted invite you to an evening of love, glamour, humour and a good helping of vices. Cabaret is music with something to say. Here the classical song tradition meets the cheeky, quirky and emotional stories of cabaret. From Kurt Weill’s melancholy tones to Sondheim’s musical drama, from Bolcom’s offbeat humour to big tunes from the world of the musical. For one evening Den Jyske Sangskole is transformed into a cabaret salon, where the music, the stories and the little vices are given room to fill the space. Cabaret and Other Vices is part of Herning Opera Festival
