Organ Matinée

Description

From the cathedral by the Øresund, Sct Olai Kirke in Helsingør, Else-Marie Kristoffersen comes to visit for the matinée on 24 October. She was employed at Holmens Kirke and at Fredensborg Slotskirke before coming to Helsingør in 2020. She is passionate about communicating organ music at a child’s level through concerts and performances with the touring music theatre Musikturnéteatret Elantori, but at today’s matinée she performs alone in a programme of music by composers with a connection to Helsingør, namely her distant – and not so distant – colleagues and predecessors Dietrich Buxtehude and Bo Grønbech.
