Klassisk Søndag

Description

This autumn's Klassisk Søndag promises a truly enjoyable afternoon in the company of Trio Arizzo and none other than Johann Sebastian Bach in the guise of singer and actor Celeste Borchorst Faurschou. We are heading out on an entertaining journey through time with Bach, who is looking for a change in his busy everyday life. Along the way he meets, among others, the young, silly but also brilliant Mozart in Vienna, and in Paris he runs into a dry fellow by the name of Georges Auric, who may also be able to inspire him in his attempt to come to terms with what we today call 'work-life balance'. It is the acclaimed Trio Arizzo from Munich who developed the concept for the programme of this concert performance, while the Danish actor Celeste Borchorst Faurschou has written the text and plays the lead role as Johann Sebastian Bach and all the other characters in the performance. The musical programme will consist of works for oboe, clarinet and bassoon by, among others, Bach, Mozart, Georges Auric and Alec Templeton.
