Concert with Landesjugendorchester Schleswig-Holstein - Susanne Heigold Concert

Description

On Sunday 25 October at 16.00 there is a concert with Landesjugendorchester Schleswig-Holstein in Løgumkloster Kirke. The concert is organised by Musikvereinigung Nordschleswig. The concert opens with Camille Saint Saëns´ (1797-1828) Symphony No. 3 in C minor, Op. 78. It is also called the Organ Symphony, because the organ plays a central role in the work. At the organ sits Tobias Brommann, cantor in Neubrandenburg. In the second half of the concert, female singers from Johanniskantorei sing one of the greatest choral works of late Romanticism, Francis Poulenc's (1899-1963) Gloria. The soloist is Anna Maria Wierød, and the conductor is Susanne Leona Heigold. Admission charged.
