What happens when Johann Sebastian Bach gets tired of fugues and needs to get away for a bit? In Bach Comes to Town, Trio Arizzo from Munich and the actor Celeste Borchorst Faurschou take the audience on an entertaining journey through time and space. Along the way Bach meets a number of music history's composers, and his own music is joined by classical, popular and jazzy tones. The programme offers arrangements of Bach's music side by side with works by Mozart, Giovanni Simone Mayr, Georges Auric and Alec Templeton, among others. Trio Arizzo plays oboe, clarinet and bassoon, while Celeste ties the music together with narration. Admission: 110 kr. for pre-paid purchase (possible until 28 October). Admission at the door: 130 kr.
