Dancing with the organ. Concert for four hands and four feet. Anne Kirstine Mathiesen, Sct. Nicolai kirke, Køge, and Vibeke Astner, Sct. Lukas kirke, Århus, have for more than 12 years played side by side on the organ bench and swung their dancing shoes in time across the pedalboard in their festive and unconventional little chamber ensemble. The duo has performed for children and adults for many years and received fine reviews throughout the Nordic countries. This is classical music in a listener-friendly version - a good place to start for anyone who has never been to an organ concert before, and an exciting and refreshing version for the experienced concertgoer. The duo has specialised in splendid, festive orchestral transcriptions such as the Nutcracker Suite, The Carnival of the Animals and Eine kleine Nachtmusik, but also plays original compositions for the line-up of 4-hand organ. Several of the works were composed for the duo. At the concert, music by Handel, Mozart and Carl Nielsen, among others, is played. Admission: 50,-
