Description

Organist Mattias Eklund, Lunds Domkirke Organ concert with organist Mattias Eklund, Lunds Domkirke. The concert is part of the festival COPENHAGEN RENAISSANCE MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026 - "ORGAN", which takes place in Copenhagen and North Zealand from 21 October - 7 December. Mattias Eklund took his organist diploma in 1999 at Musikhögskolan i Göteborg, followed in 2016-2018 by master's studies in organ and harpsichord with Joel Speerstra, with a particular focus on the baroque organ in Örgryte Nya kyrka. At his master's concert Mattias performed all of Michael Praetorius's organ works. Since 2025 Mattias has lived in Skåne and is employed as organist at Lunds domkirke. Music by Michael Prætorius, Heinrich Scheidemann and others. Free admission.
