Concert with Den Danske Guitarkvartet

Description

Den Danske Guitarkvartet is a well-established ensemble that has for many years worked on developing new repertoire for four classical guitars. With 24 strings in play, the quartet creates a sound world and a dynamic that go far beyond the notion of the classical guitar as a solo instrument. The repertoire ranges from original guitar quartet works and arrangements of classical masterpieces to brand-new music written directly for the ensemble. The album Chinese Whispers is the quartet's first release, named after the work that the Faroese singer-songwriter Teitur has written especially for the quartet. Admission: 50 kr. Tickets are bought at the door. Doors open at 15.30.
