Frederiksberg Salonorkester

Description

Frederiksberg Salonorkester – Festive music with charm and elegance. We are repeating last year's success. Frederiksberg Salonorkester invites you to an atmospheric concert of 2 x 45 minutes in all, where the audience can look forward to a varied programme with some of classical music's best-loved melodies. The repertoire includes sparkling waltzes by the Strauss family, festive music by H.C. Lumbye, selected operetta gems and well-known melodies from Danish film history and popular English and American musicals. The orchestra's skilled musicians convey the music with great joy of playing, elegance and presence, creating a concert experience that both stirs memories and delights. Whether you are into light classical tunes, nostalgic salon music or the familiar melodies from film and musicals, an entertaining and atmospheric musical experience awaits. - Doors open at 18,45. There will be the opportunity to buy coffee/cake from Kejserens Køkken from mid-August.
