Concert with Michala Petri and Lars Hannibal

Description

35th anniversary concert Michala Petri, one of the greatest recorder virtuosos of our time, has performed together with the guitarist Lars Hannibal since 1991 and this year celebrates their 35th anniversary. To mark the occasion they are touring with a long series of church concerts and are also visiting Sundby kirke. The duo has developed a direct, unpretentious and communicative concert format in which, with short introductions, they give a guide to what is special about the individual works. The repertoire ranges from early Renaissance music, through Baroque, Classical and Romantic music, up to contemporary music, where many works have been composed directly for them. Over the duo's 35 years they have played music by, among others, Dowland, Bach, Corelli, Vivaldi, Grieg, Carl Nielsen, Asger Lund Christiansen and Astor Piazzolla. Price: free
