Advent Music #1: The vocal ensemble ÆTLA

Description

The vocal ensemble ÆTLA Advent Music is Sankt Johannes Kirke's musical prelude to Christmas on the four Sundays of Advent at 16. On the first Sunday of Advent we have asked the up-and-coming vocal ensemble ÆTLA to create a musical Advent experience. ÆTLA is a classical vocal ensemble and artists' collective that strives to create engaging and fully realised concert experiences. Achieving this requires all those taking part to be artistically invested and committed, and to dare to challenge themselves and one another in order to reach the core of the music, where the art lives. ÆTLA collaborates with many kinds of artists, in the hope of meeting new and unseen sides of the classical music tradition. Several of the ensemble's singers are, incidentally, current or former employees of Sankt Johannes Kantori. Admission is free and everyone is welcome! Price: Free admission
