Brahms String Quintets

Description

Do you like Brahms? Romantic melodies, heavy with melancholy and autumn mood? Then don’t miss this concert. Two of Brahms’ most accomplished and life-affirming chamber works are his string quintets, in which the two violas give a special depth and an almost velvety sound. Here in a star cast centred around perhaps the world’s leading violist right now, Antoine Tamestit. The evening begins with a delicious two-course menu, which can be added to the concert ticket.
