Chamber Music Concert with Arild Kvartetten

Description

On 6 February 2027, the chamber music concerts at Helsingør Kammeropera present a concert with one of Denmark's leading ensembles, Arild Kvartetten. The concert has been postponed from last season. For more than 15 years Arild Kvartetten has been among the leading ensembles on the Danish chamber music scene, where they have won much praise for their noble and mature style of playing. They are frequent guests at Danish and international chamber music festivals, and have recorded digital releases of the Danish Golden Age composers Horneman and Hamerik. In September 2016, when Kammeroperaen held its very first event at Helsingør Teaterhus, it was precisely Arild Kvartetten that helped inaugurate the large Blüthner concert grand with the concert La Bonne Chanson. With this concert we thus close the circle. Together with Arild Kvartetten, Kammeroperaen's soprano Camilla Illeborg and music director Leif Greibe will perform Fauré's beautiful songs La Bonne Chanson, which were also performed at the 2016 concert, as well as Brahms's fantastic Piano Quintet in F minor. Programme: Gabriel Fauré / La Bonne Chanson Johannes Brahms / Piano Quintet in F minor
