The Little Match Girl with ÆTLA Vokalensemble
ÆTLA Vokalensemble
Description
Welcome to a very special Christmas concert in Trekroner Kirke. Be enveloped in light and sound when ÆTLA Vokalensemble invites you to an atmospheric and fairytale-like Christmas concert about loneliness, inequality and hope. The programme revolves around David Lang's enchanting work based on H. C. Andersen's The Little Match Girl and is complemented by traditional Christmas music. ÆTLA Vokalensemble is a young, up-and-coming vocal ensemble who, with curiosity and a towering level of skill, are helping to renew the Danish vocal scene. They gained a wider public breakthrough when they took part in Betty Nansen Teatret's highly acclaimed, award-winning production, "Kejseren af Portugalien" in 2025. The concert will be recorded by DR. Admission is free. Doors open at 19.00. Price: Free
