New Year's Concert with the Slyngelorkestret LAUSENIANA
Susanne Elmark, sopran
Description
No New Year without the Slyngelorkestret's festive New Year's concert! In 2027 the soprano Susanne Elmark is soloist. A festive firework display of popular music, where the repertoire ranges from the sweeping waltz rhythms of the Viennese operettas, via Lumbye's ingratiating melodies, to modern musical tones and film music. The promenade orchestra Lauseniana, known as the Slyngelorkestret, is a pan-Jutland entertainment orchestra whose aim is to create joy in music and keep worthwhile light music alive.
