TangoToner

Description

Nanna Svejgaard, vocals - Ingegerd Bogh, piano - Lise Kondrup, accordion - Sophia Larsdotter, violin - Bodil Olesen, violin - Mark Czepluch, double bass. Tango originates from Argentina and Uruguay. Intense rhythms and sensitive melodies create a unique atmosphere. The music is marked by deep, dramatic themes and a strong emotional charge - often expressed through violins, accordion and piano. Tango reflects longing and passion, which is expressed in the dance, closely tied to the music. The complex rhythms and melodic swings give listeners a feeling of both intense closeness and distance. Tango is not only a music genre, but a cultural expression of feelings and relationships. The orchestra TangoToner plays rousing Argentine music by, among others, Astor Piazzolla, with titles such as "Four Seasons", Oblivion and Liber tango. It will be an entertaining and varied programme, ranging from the most heartfelt, heart-wrenching ballads to the most expressive, passionate instrumental pieces. Programme: Astor Piazzolla and other tango composers.
