Description
Take all your senses on a journey to one of Europe's great music and wine countries. Winelab Academy presents five carefully selected wines from Austria, and musicians from Aarhus Symfoniorkester perform chamber music by some of the country's most famous composers. The programme includes music by, among others, Mozart, Mahler and Strauss, and gives a vivid insight into the rich Austrian musical tradition. Just as Austria's vineyards range from fresh and mineral white wines to elegant reds, the country's music also contains great variety - from Mozart's clear classical elegance to Mahler's deep world of sound. The selected wines are accompanied by stories from both the world of wine and the world of music, as the evening's two hosts guide the audience through taste, sound and cultural history. This is not merely a wine tasting or a concert, but an exclusive experience, where cosiness, good stories and meeting other guests are an important part of the evening. There are only 72 seats per evening and the audience sits right next to the musicians on the stage in Symfonisk Sal in Musikhuset Aarhus. *Please note! The concert takes place on the stage in Symfonisk Sal, even though the ticket purchase shows a seating plan. This is merely a technical formality Programme: Musical works by, among others, Mozart, Mahler and Strauss, and wines selected specially for the music and the occasion
