Portrait concert: Nicolas Dautricourt

Description

As part of our tradition, this year we present our violinist Nicolas Dautricourt – a member of Ensemble MidtVest since 2023 – in his own portrait concert. Here Nicolas invites the audience into a personal musical universe with a programme that is particularly close to his heart. The programme reflects both his role as part of the ensemble and his artistic identity as a violinist – also outside Denmark. The first part of the concert offers intimate classical works in interplay with his colleagues in Ensemble MidtVest. After the interval the mood changes, as Nicolas invites you to a more informal and energetic jazz section with special guests whom he plays with outside the ensemble. The concert is rounded off in cosy surroundings with socialising on the terrace in the early summer sun, where the audience is invited to enjoy good food and wine – and to celebrate the music, the community and the good moments.
