The society's purpose is to offer musical experiences and spread knowledge of and interest in classical and newer music. It does so by holding concerts at a high level and through other activities.
Hjørring musikforening was founded in 1943 - and can thus celebrate its 75th season in 2018.
The 75th anniversary was celebrated in connection with the concert on 8 April with Copenhagen Piano Quartet.
Membership fee 2021:
• 640 kr. for a couple
• 320 kr. for a single person.
The society normally holds 6-8 concerts per season and the society's members have free admission to these concerts. A guest ticket (non-member) costs 150 kr. and is bought at the entrance to a concert.
