The name of the music society is Lemvig Musikforening. The society was founded in February 1948. Its home is Lemvig Municipality.
The purpose of the society is to spread knowledge of and interest in classical music by holding concerts and, where appropriate, arranging trips to musical experiences at home and abroad.
All music lovers can become members of the society. Members pay the membership fee set by the board. Payment is made in advance.
Membership is binding for one year. Members from other towns are treated the same as the society's members.
