Get ready to dive into a world of voices, tones and musical discovery at Theatre of Voices Festival 2024, and join us as the festival travels through Copenhagen, Roskilde, Holbæk and Hørby and offers concerts, open rehearsals and talks with international composers. The festival is organised by the internationally acclaimed vocal ensemble Theatre of Voices. Our vision is to create a festival where you can go exploring in the rich world of music and hear what you did not already know, or hear the familiar in new ways. The ensemble's artistic director, Paul Hillier, has throughout his career worked to break down boundaries between genres, and this is also evident in this year's festival programme, which musically spans the years 1200-2024. Theatre of Voices Festival 2024 offers five concerts, a film screening, listening clubs and talks, where you can meet some of the most significant artists and composers from the international music scene. In 2024 we have invited Signe Lykke, Pablo Ortiz and Gabriel Jackson to a very special encounter with the audience.
